Meet Dr. Vernette

Raised in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Vernette Kountz discovered her love for movement and healing at an early age as a classically trained ballerina. From the very beginning, she understood that movement is more than just physical—it is therapy, self-expression, and a powerful pathway to healing. This deep connection between the body, mind, and spirit has been the guiding force behind her life’s work.

Dr. Vernette earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychological Brain Sciences from the University of Louisville before planting roots in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2008. She continued her pursuit of knowledge, earning a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a focus on Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from California University, followed by her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in 2016.

With over 15 years of experience spanning psychology, kinesiology, mindful meditation, Reiki, Pilates, and chiropractic care, Dr. Vernette has become a trusted voice in the metro Atlanta health and wellness community. Her work is a reflection of her deep commitment to helping individuals heal from physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional trauma. Through innovative holistic health programs, she has created transformative experiences that restore balance, uplift communities, and inspire healing from within.

Driven by a hunger for learning and a deep personal evolution, Dr. Vernette approaches natural healing with wisdom, intuition, and an open heart. Her mission is simple yet profound: to educate and empower individuals to reconnect with their inner strength and reclaim their ability to heal. She believes true healing happens from above, down, inside, out, and every aspect of her work is infused with the intention of helping others unlock that potential.

Beyond her professional life, Dr. Vernette is a devoted wife and mother of eight, including twins she lovingly carried as a gestational surrogate and bonus mama to two brilliant daughters. Her world is filled with family, laughter, and meaningful connections—the very things that fuel her soul. A lifelong learner, she finds inspiration in the book Eastern Body, Western Mind by Anodea Judith, which beautifully bridges ancient wisdom with modern understanding. Known as a natural connector and manifestor, she finds joy in gathering loved ones around food, storytelling, and shared experiences.

Dr. Vernette lives by one unwavering principle: to embrace life fully and unapologetically. Her greatest fear is not living her truth, and she is fiercely devoted to inspiring others to do the same—boldly, authentically, and with hearts wide open.

“She is a living example that intentional self-care and holistic care provides an optimal lifestyle functionally, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.”
